This home presented a wonderful opportunity for Hall Design/Build. Hall Design/Build finished this whole house remodel in September 2011.
This home, located in the DeKalb/Stone Mountain area, was rented for a while and needed quite a bit of work due to the lack of care shown by the renter. The house was on the market for 6 years and had not been updated since the 1970′s.
Hall Design/Build completed a whole house renovation, including:
- Creating educational room from repurposed smaller rooms
- Added doors to create private dining room
- Upgrading safety features including railings
- Increasing energy efficiency with new insulation and a new HVAC system for upstairs
- Custom kitchen with honed granite
- Custom bathroom with marble surfaces and steam shower
- Refinished hardwood floors throughout
